Vinyl that was sealed properly and has gone flat in the walkway.
Floor burnishing is a high-speed pass that refreshes gloss on commercial vinyl, linoleum, terrazzo and suitable stone that already has a sound finish. It is maintenance, not a repair for a floor with no coat left. Book it on the quote form or WhatsApp when the floor is clean but dull between deeper visits.
The floor is clean and still looks tired under the lights, with scuff haze rather than dirt. If you can scrape the finish off with a coin down to a different colour, you need a strip, not a burnish.

Quotes follow square metres, soil, access and whether we work while you are closed. A usual UK guide is about £1.50–£3.50 per m² for a machine scrub, £3–£6 per m² for a deep scrub, and £8–£15 per m² when a vinyl or linoleum floor needs strip and seal. Stone and heavy grease sit at the top of that range. Send the form or WhatsApp for a figure on your floor.
The floor should be dry and free of grit. Burnishing grit scratches a shine in circles.
Neutral daily cleaner. Grit mats. A burnish is often monthly on a busy lobby and less often in a side room.
Burnishing extends a seal. It does not replace it. When the coat is thin, the next step is a recoat or a strip, which we will say on the visit.
A household buffer with a dirty pad burns a swirl pattern into the finish. That then needs a strip to remove.
This is not safety-floor cleaning, not marble honing, and not a first-time seal on a floor that has never been finished.
The same floor method is quoted across the UK. Open a place for access notes.
