Epoxy and resin floor cleaning

Epoxy and resin floor cleaning for commercial premises

Epoxy and resin floor cleaning is a machine scrub for coated commercial floors in showrooms, plant rooms and back-of-house areas. It removes tyre dust, chemical film and scuffs without grinding the coating off. Book a quote on the form or WhatsApp if the resin is intact and dull, not flaking away.

A rainbow film, black tyre shadow and a floor that smears when mopped. If you can lift the coating with a thumbnail, cleaning will not stick it back down.

How it works

Machine cleaning a commercial floor
  1. Look at the floor We check the surface, how soiled it is, and when the room can close, then price the visit from that.
  2. Clean that surface A scrub, extraction or degrease matched to the floor. Dirty water is taken up, not pushed along with a mop.
  3. Finish only if it belongs Polish or seal goes on vinyl and linoleum that need it. Safety floors, worn-through timber and peeling resin do not get a shine coat.

Why book this visit

Showrooms

Gloss resin that shows every tyre and heel.

Plant and prep rooms

Coatings that have a dull traffic film.

Garages on commercial sites

Epoxy with rubber marks, not a domestic driveway jet-wash.

What the quote is based on

Quotes follow square metres, soil, access and whether we work while you are closed. A usual UK guide is about £1.50–£3.50 per m² for a machine scrub, £3–£6 per m² for a deep scrub, and £8–£15 per m² when a vinyl or linoleum floor needs strip and seal. Stone and heavy grease sit at the top of that range. Send the form or WhatsApp for a figure on your floor.

Prep

Move vehicles and loose plant. Tell us what chemicals are spilled routinely.

Aftercare

Neutral detergent only. Strong solvent and the wrong pad dull a gloss coating. Mats at roller doors cut the next film.

How long it lasts

An intact coating in a showroom may want a scrub monthly. A loading bay wants it more often. Recoating is a separate trade when the film is gone.

DIY versus a machine

A pressure washer driven into the joints lifts edges. A solvent mop can soften a thin coating.

Wrong job

This is not concrete grinding, line-marking, or a new resin install. Bare concrete has its own page.

Questions

How do I book epoxy and resin floor cleaning?

Use the quote form or WhatsApp with the floor type, approximate square metres and the hours the area can be empty. We reply with a visit plan and a price.

What changes the price?

Area, how soiled the floor is, the chemistry the surface allows, and out-of-hours access. A small room with a failed finish can cost more per metre than a large floor that only needs a scrub.

How long until people can walk on it?

A scrub-and-dry floor is usually ready when it is dry to the touch. A new seal or polish needs the cure time stated on the quote, often overnight, before furniture or wet shoes go back.

Can our own cleaners do this instead?

Daily mopping keeps loose dust down. It does not pull soil out of grout, safety texture or a worn vinyl finish. If the floor still looks tired after a proper mop, it needs a machine visit.

Can you restore a peeled epoxy floor?

No. We clean coatings that are still stuck. Peeled or blistered resin needs a floor layer, then a maintenance scrub.
